Alessandro Busci
Alessandro Busci, architect and artist based in Milan, transforms metal—steel, copper, aluminum—into poetic visions of nature and architecture. His works capture birch trees, mountains, icebergs, and iconic buildings, from Milan’s San Siro and Torre Velasca to the Empire State Building, blending naturalistic observation with architectural imagination.
Graduated from Milan Polytechnic, Busci combines his architectural expertise with a painterly, calligraphic technique, creating striking works on unconventional surfaces alongside traditional paper pieces.
Since his debut at the 1996 Suzara Prize, he has exhibited worldwide, including Milan, Rome, London, Bordeaux, Madrid, Bilbao, San Francisco, and Naples. Highlights include the 2014 Triennale exhibition In Alto Milano, reflecting the city’s vertical growth, and Milano Fly Zone at Milan Malpensa Airport (2017–2018), seen by over 2 million travelers.
