Andrea Gallotti

Andrea Gallotti

Born in Monza on 25 April 1993, Andrea Gallotti has been passionate about drawing since childhood. After exploring traditional methods of painting, he sought a freer, more contemporary approach, later refining his vision at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Over time, he traveled across Italy and abroad, meeting other artists and connecting theory with practice, shaping his personal style. Gallotti’s work is driven by questions about repetition: does repeating a gesture diminish its value? Each mark, line, or action is unique in its subtle differences, and together these repetitions create compositions where base layers and surface details interact in dialogue. In a world saturated with stimuli, we often overlook subtle variations, reducing repeated actions to routine. Through his art, Gallotti invites viewers to slow down, appreciate the uniqueness in repetition, and reflect on the overlooked details of daily life.
