Light and space beyond borders

This exhibition presented a dialogue between the American Light and Space movement and Italian Spatialism, exploring different approaches to artistic space, light, and color. Featuring works by Lucio Fontana, Peter Alexander, Marina Apollonio, Agostino Bonalumi, Enrico Castellani, Gisela Colon, and Piero Manzoni, the show highlighted how artists across continents have investigated perception, dimensionality, and the interplay between material and immaterial. The exhibition invited viewers to experience space as a dynamic, sensory environment, emphasizing the continuum between historical avant-garde practices and contemporary experimentation.
