Spaces of Light

This exhibition unveiled a fresh chapter in Helidon Xhixha’s artistic exploration, bringing stainless steel sculpture inward and enriching it with vibrant color. For the first time alongside his hallmark mirror-polished steel works, the artist introduced colored pieces, presenting bold chromatic variations and textures that redefined the boundaries of sculptural space. Curated by Beatrice Audrito, Spaces of Light marked a more intimate setting that nonetheless preserved the grandeur of Xhixha’s practice—highlighting the interplay between light, color, and form, and showcasing the artist’s evolving vision of material as infinite combinatorial potential.
