RAFKA is a young Swiss artist who currently lives and works in Zurich.

He has always been fascinated by world of pigments and colors and in the last 12 years, through some study and experimentation, he has developed a profound in-depth understanding of the subject.

 

During his exploration, his desire of transforming his knowledge into art grew consistently, eventually resulting in his first artworks. This is exactly how he began expressing his creativity, concurrently producing paintings and his own pigments, rich in vibrancy and iridescence. This is the true identity mark of RAFKA’s works: as the observer moves around the artwork, the pigments shine, reflect the light and gradually change color. 

 

The dynamic relationship between the canvas and the light is the distinctive sign of his creations.
